Description
A disposable scalpel is a single-use surgical instrument designed for making precise incisions. It combines a sharp, sterile blade with a lightweight handle, ensuring maximum hygiene and reducing the risk of cross-contamination. These scalpels are pre-sterilized and individually packaged, providing convenience and safety for medical professionals. After use, they are discarded, eliminating the need for reprocessing and sharpening, thus saving time and ensuring consistent sharpness for each procedure. Disposable scalpels are commonly used in various medical fields, including surgery, dermatology, and emergency medicine, for their reliability and ease of use.
Consists of pre-assembled stainless steel surgical blades mounted on ABS plastic handle with fluted finger grips and the blades are safely protected by LDPE guard. These are individually packed in peel-open paper/poly pouches and 10 such pcs are packed in box of 10’s. Color of handles can be changed to customer’s requirement. The Disposable Scalpel are sterilized by gamma radiation to a minimum dosage of 2.5M Rad and have shelf life of 5 years.
